UK print and packaging community, The Packaging Collective, will bring together notable peers in the industry to strategise for the future at its exclusive one-day event, Packaging – A Collective Way Forward.
Featuring key industry speakers, the discussion hones in on the sustainability issues that affect businesses within the packaging trade on a fundamental level, particularly in today’s challenging social and economic conditions. The event aims to facilitate a united industry agenda and drive progress through sharing experience and best practice.
The event on November 6 connects a wide spectrum of organisations that face similar challenges with the ultimate goal of future proofing the collective supply chain and adapting to the evolving business landscape.
The discussion presents an opportunity for packaging sector members make their voice heard and contribute to the long-term direction of the industry. From tackling the spread of misinformation and the 'Blue Planet Effect' to the viability of new sustainable technologies, the event ensures the entire supply chain is moving in the same direction and creates actionable change that benefits every business.
“We are delighted to extend our inaugural event to welcome a wide range of key speakers from designer to retailer, and everyone in between. It’s important that we bring the supply chain together to plan for the future,” commented Packaging Collective founding partner, Sanjay Patel.
“In today’s commercial environment, we face challenges that are unique to our trade, which make events such as Packaging - A Collective Way Forward pivotal to the print and packaging industry. Our market faces difficulties but also a lot of opportunities. By banding together to strategise for the future, we ensure that every business is prepared and that we move successfully forward together.”
Participants will hear from notable speakers with extensive industry experience. Those in attendance will include James Piper (EcoSurety), Gregory Bentley (AB-Inbev), Jo Stephenson (Women In Packaging), Kevin Vyse (OPRL) and Merle Hall (Kinneir Dunfort).
